you are what you do
a recent free write inspired by a quote spotted in the world ::: one day these rambles will compile into something 😉 until then here we are ….
“you are what you do, not what you say you’ll do.” Carl Jung
integrity. it is a core value word for me. it’s a compass. and while certainly imperfect {my journey} integrity is a foundational piece and platform from which my slow roll growth evolves.
in my work, in play, in community, in connection, I will never ask anyone to move a body or breathe a breath or have a conversation that I am not willing to sit in the depths of myself.
it’s been one of my greatest gifts to share heart, vulnerability, evolution from the messiness of this journey. it’s not grandiose and yet it is for me.
it is mundane and magical.
it is hard and it is easy.
and honestly, it’s all I can do.
spirit is all around and moves me to show up this way. i can read and study and intellectualize to the point of combustion and it serve not one soul, mine included if I fail to embody the learning and the knowing. i cannot waste my teachers, my mentors, my friends time by holding it only in thought, it must express through all layers of this body and be shared to those open and willing to journey too.
these teachings and these knowings are ancient and they are not one persons, we do not own them. we own our authentic expression of their revolution and revelation and the world needs that. i need that.
and so yes, i will keep learning, keep leaning, keep journeying and most def keep integrating and allowing and sharing in ways that i am called
in ways that i am held
in ways that i am challenged
and in ways that are aligned.
spirit is moving through and i am listening 🙏
