cheers to us. 

to the ones bringing some balance to the world 

thru the softness of our warrioring 

the kindness in our assertion 

and the tenderness of our spirit. 

oh and don't for one second believe that the power lies elsewhere.

the power lives right there 

in the fire and the knowing in our bellies 

the life in our blood 

the resonance of our voice 

the creativity of our movement 

and the fight to {simply+safely} show up fully 

in all our glory 

all our worth 

and all our choice. 

our true value may still not be fully understood or accepted but 

to those who march on everyday all strong backed and soft hearted, 

paving the way for those who couldn’t before 

and for those who won’t have to down the line 

i see you and support you and lift you.  

and. it. matters. 

keep returning to your knowing, 

resting on our lifters 

we’ll know the way up from there and it will continue to be a beacon for others to lean in and do the same. 

hate a label but i don’t think there’s one i am more aligned with … than woman.
